the method

Howard Gardner formulated the theory of multiple intelligences in 1983.  The premise is simple, and you've probably thought it to yourself before:  different people learn best in different ways.  Some people must have a visual.  Some must walk to think.  Some create jingles to memorize formulas.

Gardner outlined seven major intelligences:  logical-mathematical, spatial, linguistic, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, and intrapersonal.  Eventually two more were added:  naturalistic and existential.  This project will focus on the original seven.

Whether you are a seeker or are experienced in searching scripture, you have probably tried some different ways of incorporating daily reading into your life.  It probably consisted of reading some scripture and reading some reflections.  How many of your intelligences did it engage?  Did it meet you in your preferred learning style?

Having a dynamic interchange with God's word is what makes it a living, breathing document.  God longs to meet us in the way that is best for each of us, and God knows us very well.  God knows us down the number of hairs on our little heads.

In this place, I hope you can find something that helps you find God in the scriptures.  Not all of it will suit you, but my hope is that some of it will suit everyone.  That's the point.
